Alice and James, what can I say about these two superstars? Such a beautiful natured, kind and great looking pair. Flying over from Melbourne to hold their wedding in their original home town of Adelaide.
This day started off bright and early at 8:30am with the boys for haircuts, trim and a little styling with the legends from Barber Society. I seriously cannot recommend this approach enough, a little bit of style in the morning to get the boys all prettied up in a swanky spot goes a long way to set the mood for the day.
I also love a little bit of “put your own spin on things” when it comes to breaking traditions. The girls, all in white, looked absolutely incredible especially when placed next to the boy’s black suits.
That incredible dress, Alice… I just can’t. What an incredibly simple and elegant gown, love love love, and the way it flowed during that epic lift for your first dance… complete insanity.
The 102 year old Cabra Dominican College chapel was the incredible setting for the I do’s. Alice arrived in a beautiful vintage Mercedes (I am not a car guy so could not tell you the year and model, but it was beautiful none the less).
The bridal party and I headed off for a few shots around North Adelaide and the streets around Bowden before hitting Plant 4 for the remainder of the evening. The open industrial space, impeccably styled, was the perfect setting for some eats, drinks and tunes to carry the crowd on throughout the night.
